Ministry Groups
In order to be involved with A/V, you must show an interest in learning the equipment. It is a great benefit to have a good ear for the sound aspect, but you may also just run the slides, which are the announcements and lyrics on screen. In addition, this ministry handles the audio tapes of the services.
 | | A camp brings to mind recreation, an appreciation for God's beautiful creation, and also a base of operations from which a group with a certain purpose and mission would set out, as in the days of Moses and the Israelites. Our Kamp Kids learn in a casual and fun camp environment, taught by a friendly and caring KCKZ staff. Our passionate vision is for kids to know that God is real through His creation, His Word, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Our mission and joy is to start them on a lifelong adventure of discovering and applying God's Promises to help them grow in loving Him, in knowing all they have in Christ, and in helping others to catch the excitement! |
 | | All kids can blaze a trail for God by walking according to His Word! In a creative, fun, and interactive campsite setting, adults and teens team together to teach the kids in this dynamic age group to enjoy and employ God's Word in their daily lives through Bible stories, songs, games, and skits. Many opportunities are provided for KAMP out times and activities other than Sunday mornings! Kick it up with us! |
 | | KinderKampers will realize they too can count on God's Word and step out in faith to "make waves" for their awesome God! Nurturing teachers with a special heart for the blossoming children in this age group impart truth and love through creative lessons, puppets, and crafts. |
 | | The Nursery is one of the most important ministries of our body. We believe that even at the youngest age, Jesus is still alive in the hearts of these children. Therefore, we have taken great strides to make this ministry the very best it can be. We have put the best safety procedures in place for the children and continue to keep our volunteers fully updated and aware of the needs of the children in their care. We hope that above all, the families who utilize this ministry receive the love and compasion that Christ showed the children. |
 | | This "group" began as a monetary donation program that rapidly expanded to food collection and community action. This ministry serves the entire Shoreline in multiple capacities and seeks people who are willing to care and share. Heat and Eat also needs you if you are creative and resourceful!
Blessed is he who considers the poor, The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preseve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth Ps 41:1-2 |
 | | Cornerstone encourages the men of our fellowship to attend and support the local ministry Men 4 Men. This is an interdenominational group where men can gather to enjoy relevant teaching and fellowship. The group meets monthly at Malone's Coffee House in Clinton. |
All nursery workers are screened by our pastors and have agreed with the core values and belief statement of Cornersotne Church. By the end of the year, each one will have received training and a background check.
 | | The Shoreline Soup Kitchen is a collaborative effort from many volunteer groups. On a rotating schedule, we offer assistance in every area, including food pick up, clean up, serving, and socializing. |
Sunday mornings we all get to enjoy a beverage and something to eat thanks to this ministry. There is always a need to help get things ready or to clean up after the service. It's a blessing to be served by this ministry.
 | | The men and women who make this ministry work are people of faith who provide love, hope, encouragement, and healing to members of our church and community who are hospitalized or shut-in by bringing them hope through the Word of God. These servants work with the Meals Ministry and visit those who are in need before, during and after hospital stays. |
 | | Greeters welcome people upon their arrival at church and make introductions between church members and visitors before, during, and after the service. We assist in hospitality at the end of the service and at various pastors’ gatherings throughout the year. Greeters also help new people to make connections by assisting in follow-up to assess their needs. This ministry is open to all who have been attending Cornerstone for at least one month. If you have a true desire to serve newcomers, please consider joining in this valuable Ministry of Helps. A commitment to faithfulness in service is key. |
