Ministries
| | Our Adult Education program at Father Dyer Church is as diverse as our congregation. Usually offered on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, the Adult Education meets the spiritual needs of our members through Disciple Bible Study and Book Studies on a variety of topics. Recent studies include "The United States and the Middle East: 1914 to 9/11", "Confronting the Controversies" and "Look for Me in Heaven," a biography of Father John Lewis Dyer. |
| | Congregational Care at Father Dyer Church offers encouragement, practical support and prayer to people in need.
Jesus was very clear that a significant part of our ministry for Him was to care for one another in love. For that reason, Father Dyer Church is intentional about offering ministries to meet the needs--spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational - - of all that God brings our way. Our Congregational Care team seeks to fulfill Jesus' command.
Our desire is to meet the needs of all those connected to Father Dyer Church as commanded by Christ. We have a network of people who are dedicated to Jesus and this ministry of caring for His people. |
| | The Family Ministries of Father Dyer guides children to connect with God, explore their faith, nurture friendships, serve joyfully, and love wholeheartedly. This is a place where faith, imagination, and learning go hand in hand. Through creative, active, age-appropriate, and Bible bases experiences, children are guided and encouraged to grow in their faith. We are thrilled about all of the great opportunities available for your kids and look forward to seeing you soon! |
We're glad you're here! Anyone is welcome to come and participate in our music programs - even if you are only here seasonally! Talents of all abilities are welcome as we are willing to assist and teach all participants. In addition to our choirs, we also have opportunities for instrumentalists and vocal soloists to participate in our worship services.
| | Father Dyer Church participates in outreach both within our local community and abroad. Outreach opportunities include Jail Ministry, Food Pantry, Mission Trips, Souper Sunday, and Special Assistance. |
| | Put your faith into action and make a difference in our church, our community and the world. Find your place today. There are opportunities for people of all age ranges to serve within our local community, state, country, and worldwide. |
| | Stewardship – to serve as one who manages another's property, finances or other affairs – is not just means for the church to raise money. It is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have is God’s, and we are simply managing those resources while here on earth. |
| | Father Dyer Church is listed in the National Historic Registry and is a perfect worship space to celebrate the rite of matrimony. Our space can accommodate approximately 225 guests.
In addition to the simple elegance of the Sanctuary, we offer modern features including wireless microphones, listening systems for the hearing impaired, and pre-recorded music amplification capabilities. Also, Father Dyer provides each wedding with its very own Wedding Facilitator to ensure a seamless worship ceremony.

We are glad you are here! We would love to have you join us in worship in one of our various services.
9:00 am - Traditional Worship
The 9:00 Traditional Service incorporates hymn singing, prayer, scripture, special music and the sermon. Dynamic preaching by the senior pastor, stirring music by the chancel choir, Fyer Light Band and frequent special instrumental music make this service a central part of our worship as a congregation. Sunday School and childcare are available during this service.
| | PURPLE COW (question, seek, explore)-Sunday Nights at Father Dyer Children's Theatre. Movie & Pizza, 5:00-7:00pm
Our Sunday program strives to create a safe place where youth can learn about themselves and God on their journey toward adulthood. There will be a balance between community building, leadership, spiritual development and social action. |
