FinanceMy wife loves Ascribe. She was using a "homemade" Excel spreadsheet for a while, as she came on-board as financial stewardess for the church. Her frustrations with the thing led to her searching the net for alternatives, which led her to Ascribe. The printing of the yearend statements went very well. ... we're very pleased with the financial system thus far. As long as my wife is happy with it, that's all that matters, & she's raving about it to others Todd Warfield
Hope Chapel Pearlview Ascribe allows you to securely track financial giving for each person and household. To do so, you first create a deposit. Then contributions are entered into the deposit. Each contribution details the gift types (i.e., cash, check, goods, credit card, PayPal, electronic funds transfer, stock, real property, and life insurance) and how the gift(s) should be allocated to funds (e.g., general funds, advertising, etc). An unlimited number funds can be established to meet your exact needs. Once all the contributions have been entered for a deposit, the deposit can then be posted.
Add contributions to depositThe contribution entry form has been optimized to require as few steps as possible to ensure quick data entry.
Anonymous contributionsEntering anonymous contributions are even easier. Just fill in the amount and submit. Post deposit, export fund totals and print reportsOnce all contributions have been entered into the deposit, begin the accuracy check process and post the deposit. The deposit fund totals can be exported to a Quickbooks Intuit Interchange File (IIF) for automatic import into Quickbooks. Also printed reports can be generated such as a deposit summary for easy depositing of the batch contributions to the bank. FundsSet up funds that make sense for your congregation. Monies received in contributions can be allocated to these funds. You may browse through amounts received in a given fund over time. Fund income reportsAscribe reports aggregate totals of income by fund by week, month, quarter or year. If comments were added in fund allocation these will be added up and reported as well. This can be used for getting totals of amounts allocated to a certain missionary while not needing to create an entire fund for that missionary. |
