“Aggress”: a Season of Spiritual Warfare
January 25, 2008

Today I am declaring in Jesus’ Name a prayer campaign called, “Aggress”: a Season of Spiritual Warfare that will continue until the Lord releases us. In this time, we will utilize the authority given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18-19; Psalm 8:6).

Here is what we are to do:

1.         Begin with worship. If you are able, pray in the Spirit as well. Put on the ‘armor of God’ (Ephesians 6:10-18)

2.         Ask the Lord for forgiveness on behalf of ‘unhealthy fear’ as well as any other sin of omission or commission                         (1 John 1:9). Do not dwell on this; rather, enter His Presence with confidence because of the Blood of Jesus                             (Hebrews 4:14-16)

3.         BIND demonic spirits of ‘terroristic fear’, ‘worship of mammon’, ‘carnality’, ‘selfishness’, ‘poverty’ and                                     ‘independence’ (when you do this, you must speak – no need to shout or raise your voice, but spoken because                         demons are not privileged to hear what we think, as when we pray in our mind and heart, only God is;                                         1 Corinthians 2:10-16). As the Lord reveals other demonic entities, deal with them.

4.         LOOSE by the power of the Holy Spirit: ‘obedience’, ‘worship’, ‘a healthy   fear of the Lord’, ‘prosperity’, ‘abundance’,             ‘peace’, ‘a warrior spirit’, “Salvation” and ‘a hunger for righteousness no matter what the cost.’ I  anticipate that                         this list will also grow in specifics.

4a.       Pray regarding the 13 gates of authority in Kapolei (Psalm 24:7-10)

i.                    pray for Christians in each gate to seek the Lord for wisdom and instruction and be ‘loosed’

ii.                  pray for leaders to emerge, to be ‘loosed’

iii.                the 13 gates are:

                                    (1)       Arts/performance
                                    (2)       Business/professionals
                                    (3)       Churches
                                    (4)       Education
                                    (5)       Government/political

                                    (6)       Hawaiian community/culture
                                    (7)       Homes/communities
                                    (8)       Labor/unions
                                    (9)       Media/communications
                                    (10)     Military
                                    (11)     Non-Profit
                                    (12)     Youth
                                    (13)     Sports

iv.                pray for Salvations, to be ‘loosed’

v.                  Research assistance regarding the history (Hawaiian and secular) of the City of Kapolei, Barbers Point, and Makakilo

vi.                Pray for men that are “prayer warriors” to join our team, to be ‘loosed’

5.         Thank the Lord for what He is doing and will be doing, receiving in faith what we have “loosed”

Notes:

Prophetic Words. If you have any prophetic words that you believe are for HCK or the church in general, I ask that you would send them to me directly and not ‘spam’ everyone. Now more than ever, prophetic words need to be tested. There are two ways that prophecy can be interpreted and shared: (1) a word that comes from God and released as He desires (2) a word that comes from God and then is affected by the emotions of the recipient due to mercy, fear of offense, protectiveness or focus on one issue so closely that everything is interpreted for that one issue (Acts 21:10-14 – Agabus brings a prophetic word, and those who hear it begged Paul to not continue on a journey that the Lord commissioned him to take). “The will of the Lord be done!”

Back on “Offense”. Though we have experienced ‘lean times’ at HCK, the time of acting like a ‘pauper’ must end today! It is time to get back to the business of our ‘Statement of Purpose’: “to equip people to become effective witnesses of Jesus Christ to everyone, everywhere”. Our long term objective remains: that by 2025 Kapolei becomes God’s City and that Hawaii becomes God’s State. As we return to God's Purpose for His Church, our people will  once again be on a path of discovering, developing and realizing God's Dream for their lives!

Important! Be wary of spending too much prayer time on #3 (binding demonic spirits). The focus needs to be on #’s 1 (Worship in the Spirit), 4 (Loosing), and 5 (thanksgiving and reception).

Fasting. Finally, for those of you who are physically able, I ask that you join me in fasting ‘once a week’ – a full liquid fast from sunrise to sunrise -- 24 hours. Demonic entities in Kapolei have been here a long time, and the Lord has instructed us that prayer and fasting are one of His "mighty weapons of choice" to gain victory (Mark 9:29).

Stay Pure! (Psalm 15)  ...  and  Sleep Well,

Pastor John
