Ascribe email provides you with two types of Spam protection:

SpamAssassin
BoxTrapper

SpamAssassin is an intelligent email filter designed to identify unsolicited bulk email. Using a variety of mechanisms including header and text analysis, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering databases, SpamAssassin identifies spam and eliminates it even before it reaches your inbox. Boxtrapper is designed to intercept all incoming mail and require the sender to verify that they are a real person and not a faceless spam server. In order to mail you the person is forced to reply to an email which gets automatically sent to them when our mail server receives their email. Do-It-Yourself Email Account Setup

With Ascribe, you will be furnished with a web-based control panel which allows you to set up each email account yourself. No need to request help from Tech Support. You can do it yourself. Configure each email account with the desired email address, password and mailbox size. You can make the email accounts as large as you want depending on how much diskspace you have ordered with your Ascribe account.

POP3, IMAP4, SMTP

Ascribe email supports POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP, the standard protocols that allow email systems to talk to each other. They also allow email users to check and send email via desktop email software like Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird, as well as wireless devices like Blackberry, Treo, and Sidekick.
